Every now and then I just want to make pictures without an end in mind.
These are collages made from old magazines.
At one point in my life I pulled pictures of shelves out of magazines (when I was playing with Nicola’s bath pictures, and embedding them into pictures of countrysides etc).
I realised as I pulled these together how little you see bookshelves now: it’s all kindle. Most of my bookshelves at home are in fact filled with ikea boxes. How the world has changed.
So these collages may become another work.
Or not.
Each is the size of an A4 page.
