I’ve been playing with the Shereen LaPlantz’ Art and Craft of Handmade Books, and noticed I had made an interstate highway book, but not an Interstate Highway concertina.
This is the 2nd attempt to do so, and I cannot make head nor tail of the instructions.
So this is a combo of an interstate highway and a kind of concertina. The geometric design of the original has worked well with the V’s cut in the pages to give it a way to interweave, but it’s not my best work.
I made an envelope to put the book in, and since I recorded the video I made a few changes to the cover. The photos below reflect the new cover.
