Isolation grew from the houses i made for On the Hill, but the houses are slightly smaller.
I loved the first one so much that I made another 12 or so of them, not knowing what they would become, but loving the orange / blue combo and the prints so much. they shimmer.
In the end i put them sideways like a single flag.
had a false end where I put some stars on blue background as the background, but nicola and i conferred and she gave me some blank offcuts to make the background not detract.
it’s called isolation because my friend Bernard Appassamy suggested it was very Newtown in Isolation (we’re a few months into the Covid-19 world).
just sealed with a belly band.
