Visited the National Gallery of Victoria. As it turned out (because I came down to see Groundhog Day, the Musical, not knowing what was on).
Had a huge sense of FOMO panic (fear of missing out) on entering the museum because the signs were showing that the Triennial was everywhere but nowhere specific.
Strolled through a few of the galleries reserved for particular artists and calmed down a bit. By the end I had traversed the entire gallery. Some pieces were inserted between their existing collections, which I know a little, having done the entire gallery a few times. I find it hard to rouse interest in furniture and clothing, even though in stores both of them are quite interesting, and every single one is lovely when looked at individually. maybe they just don’t catch my errant attention to make me want to look closer?
Anyway, here are the pieces I enjoyed.
