A good ten years ago I was interested in how Golden Books evolved.
I think it was before I began taking them apart to make other books.
I traced some of the ornamentation (which changed over the lifetime of the books’ publication).
Here are those designs. My plan is to turn them into a feature page (like the Dragons one or the one I did for the Day the Saucers Came).
