I was away for the weekend so I just took a box of 36 sharpie markers and a children’s book to alter.
this is what I made.
the sharpies alone on the china coated paper gave a pleasing stained-glass effect, but it wasn’t enough. because i was away for the weekend (in Bowral), I raided the weekender’s stash of home magaines and pulled out some lovely flowers.
This was the original lion king book.
After having made this piece, I found Malcolm de Chazal’s work. The colours and forms are so similar, so I have put the link here!
