Was very happily surprised by the Warhol line drawings in the “Adman” Warhol exhibition in Sydney this week.
This style of illustration is in my memory as the illustration of my childhood early-adolescence novels and stories. It is iconically linked in my mind to New York and Paris in the 50s and 60s.
