So I thought this piece was finished.
But there was not enough contrast in it to hang in a normally lit room.
Since it will end up on a wall in a home, probably not with purpose-built lighting, i added another white layer – this time with oil pastel.
Over time this piece has had more than 5 layers (possibly 7). It’s taken more than 30 hours. I tend to work quickly, so for me that’s a major investment!
