Au-dessus des deux tours jumelles means “above two twin towers”. This piece is called that because of the postcard on the lower layer. The post card is from somewhere in France. It’s one of the tiny houses in this piece.
It’s from my friend Michael Wills, who I met in the mid 1980s at International House in Sydney University, where we were both living. We shared a house and many travails into the 90s when Michael eventually died from HIV.
Many of my postcards came from him. So this piece is for Michael.
