For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. One book falls and causes the next one to fall, like dominoes. One bus ticket falls and causes?
These 30x30mm 2dimensional works are created from tiny pieces of now-defunct bus and train tickets.
Firstly there’s the story that I see in them: It’s a series of books, stacked. It’s reminding me of the book dominoes world record made by Seattle Library
And then there’s the story of where it came from: these are tiny offcuts from the tiny terrace windows and doors laser cut earlier this year.
It’s especially cool because Sydney no longer uses these bus and train tickets. So it’s an historical artwork!
