Firstly, the goddess, who has been sitting in my garden since then (that’s 15 years!). Her arm fell off a little while ago, and I reattached it with silicone (for the bathroom).
She is based on a photograph of a statue in a town square in Creglingen, a small town in Germany. My Aunty Suzie shared the photo with me from her trip in 2001 which you will find at the end of the photos below.
Then some coil pots made in the same week as the goddess. These also hold water in my garden still.
The teacher was Margo Gabsi who was just magical with clay.
