This was the pages left in the book “What Makes a Masterpiece” after I’d raided it for a few other collage works (e.g. Feed Each Other, Old MacDonald and others). 100 Great Australian Artworks, which my Aunty Suzie had given me from her school library ages ago.
So this piece is very much influenced by Australian landscape colours. And Sophie gave me The Things That Matter by Nate Berkus, which was remaindered at Kinokuniya due to a little corner bruising. It had a lovely set of wall papers marking each chapter. The book is by a famous interior designer to the stars, so I’m more interested in the textures than the book!
