These looked like pinboards when i photographed them, so that’s what the new series is called.
It began last week when I had hurt my back, so couldn’t really concentrate on working, but was too bored to watch movies any more.
I took out a folder full of “small things” I’d gathered together when I was playing with artist’s trading cards, and when I was altering books for a while (and wanted small things to paste in). It’s tiny pictures from National Geographic and tiny things from home magazines. Random collaging then picking out frames and making them even better. It’s soothing!
Here are the initial results. The longer I do it the more it evolves into something else.
