I caught an exhibition by Ruth Levine and Robyn Kinsela at HKEdit on Thursday night. It’s less a gallery than an interior design consultancy. the art was displayed in a “home” style environment which was different to what usually happens. As Robyn quipped, “it shows me what my house should look like”.
Robyn Kinsela did the 2d works you’ll see in the pictures below. and the vessels, made from discarded stuff (old canvas, old jeans, old gesso containers, cardboard) made by Ruth Levine inspired me most. As if I don’t have enough objects around my house, i now want to make vessels!
