I’ve been experimenting with stamps as a way to make my version of nicola’s explanation of the palimpsest she was working on. (see here)
and then i have made some franklin folds from the books
this one below is from a calendar page (more artwork by giorgio maria griffa).
it was easy to then work out which pages were blank – and mostly it was the centre pages. just took one of my “postage” style stamps and used the wavy pattern, which worked out really well. I’m really enjoying just playing with the stamps.
And this book is just a snake book / leperello.
