Altered book.
it used to be the Night before Christmas.
I used gelli prints and monoprints which I made playing around, collaged them in and then drew and coloured over them with paint markers and sharpies (the sharpies give a lovely wash-like effect).
I had so much loved this one, with little houses, especially the oranges and yellows, so i made another, adding in some closer ups and maps. It’s a bigger format and some of the pages please me greatly.
