This is the blurb for my tiny house pieces at Replay.
Remember postcards?
Remember when a stamp was 37 cents?
These postcards are memories from the 80s and 90s when my friends began traveling, and those sent to me when I lived in Paris and London.
They include original words from Michael Wills who died too young of AIDS, Andrew Williams, Graham Byrnes, Barry Evans, my sister Kellie, Jean-Francois Millet and Francie Baltzan. There are also love postcards I sent to my ex-husband.
It’s sad and happy. And such an excursion through postage stamps individually Aviation Pioneer shows off a lot of US and Canada cards, and messages from Graham, from my summer in Denmark, Michael in Spain and Graham in France.
Villeneuve-les-avignon Michael from France, Francie from Florence and Rome Au-dessus has cards from Michael, and the French woman I met on the plane on the way home from France in 1981.
En route has cards from Andrew Williams, Kellie and me from Copenhagen to James.
