Buildings, especially strings or lines of buildings, are a theme in my work.
Years ago (in France, perhaps? Or Vancouver? Or Singapore?) I bought these paper models, ostensibly to be able to copy them myself.
I’ve been clearing out my cupboards and boxes of book materials and inspiration, so this Friday for art day, which was conducted by zoom of course, during these Covid-19 times, I constructed the models.
The two little villages I have constructed (and deconstructed) before. The carousel i had not.
Here are the photos of the packaging, which also explain the bits and how they interact. I am unlikely to make a deconstructible one, but i am likely to copy the carousel pattern, now I have the cricut!
