I picked up some A3 paper from my stash and continued on the X-ray house series (and here).
It turns out that this paper is inkjet photo paper, which means while it was fine for drawing with a pen, after being watercoloured it wouldn’t take even sharpie. it wasn’t pleasant to use the pens, and since my art is for fun and pleasure it seemed ridiculous to continue. I will “do them again” or move on to something else.
I have arrested these versions here – with 2 coloured in using watercolour (Gensai Tambi, of course) and some touch up with acrylic paint markers and or Sharpie, one partially sharpie coloured and the other just black and white drawings. I could in fact collage them instead, but i’m not in the mood to stay between the lines, so I’ll start something new.
