I added Gansai Tambi watercolours to the images I drew at Pearl Beach.
For reference, the watercolour paper I “borrowed” from the craft cupboard at Pearl Beach is A4 size. The graph paper is A3.
I’m still learning how to work with watercolours, but I’m pleased with how some of these turned out. The paper is so robust was also useful – the water gives it a fair amount of punishment.
For the first image I had drawn (the stack of boxes) I coloured first with acrylic markers, and then added watercolours to make the colours a little “dirty”.
Images /artworks that have been catching my eye of late are often chocolates and dark teals or turquoise with white. So I’ll get around to making a work or five based on that.
Anyway, these are they. I’ve started drawing some more.
